Architectural Detail Products
Each Architectural Detail product is hand-cafted to provide the highest quality pieces for our customers. Original pieces are created by our artisans according to specifications by Palladio and Vignola. These originals are highly detailed, using our distictive interpretations of ornamental moldings such as egg and dart, acanthus leaf, beading, etc. Molds are made of these originals from which each new piece is produced using 40% fiberglass and our unique hand-laminated process. Each piece is then hand-finished and inspected to make sure it meets our high level of quality. Every piece also comes with a hardened gel coat and primer finish giving it superb resistence to chipping or peeling—standard. Or, they can also be made to look like various types of stone.
Additionally, Architectural Detail specializes in custom architectural work and restorations. With anything from a technical drawing to a rough sketch on paper, our artisans can create whatever a customer can image. Unlike our competitors, which only manufacture columns at specific incremental lengths, our columns can be manufactured to any desired length while maintaining the correct entasis on tapered columns.
