We at Architectural Detail recommend that our products be installed according to the following guides. Each of these guides include detailed step-by-step instuctions for installation of their respective products and can be downloaded as a pdf from their individual installation pages. If you have any questions concerning these guides, please contact our technical department.

Standard Columns
This installation guide is for use with standard, decorative (non-structural), columns that are not installed around a structural post. If you are looking for instructions on installing a decorative column around a structural post, before the load is placed on that post, please see our slide-over column installation instructions. For instructions on installing a decorative column around a structural post, after the load has been placed on that post, please see our SureFit column installation instructions.
Slide Over Columns
This installation guide is for use with standard, decorative (non-structural), columns that are installed around a structural post, but where a structural load has not yet been placed on the post.
